Owner, Ross Wilson, and General Manager, AK Mitchell and the urbantonic team make up this amazing company. Ross completed his studies at the University of Cape Town in 1998 and started up Cater Corps which was later rebranded as urbantonic with AK joining him 2 years later.

The History:

Now in its 13^th year of business, urbantonic has become a household name in the events industry through it’s can do attitude and hands on approach.

Over the years, urbantonic’s focus has shifted to providing a full event logistic solution to its clients by capitalising on its supplier relationships and experience in this ever changing industry. From a start-up office at home, urbantonic is proud to now have over 650 square metres of warehousing space that houses its very own hiring and mobile cocktail division.

Our recipe for success after success is based on two core principles:

First, an event has to be memorable. That means it has to be interesting or different, and we go out of our way to help create that little bit of magic.

Second, an event has to be fun. And not just for your guests, but for you too. So we put in all the effort necessary to ensure that on the big day all you have to do is relax and enjoy yourself.
